Emergencies

For urgent problems, call the office during regular hours and state the nature of your problem. Every attempt will be made to see you promptly at one of our locations.

For emergencies at any time the office is closed, call the Winchester Medical Center (540)536-8000, and have them page the doctor on call. One of the physicians will be available to advise you regarding the proper management of your problem.

Prescriptions

It is not our policy to prescribe medication over the phone. We prefer to give written refills for all medication at the time of your office visit. If you need a prescription refilled at another time, please contact your pharmacist first. The pharmacist will then coordinate with our staff for renewal of your prescription. Some prescriptions cannot be refilled without an office visit. For refills of a long-term medication over 1 year old, we ask that you make an office appointment. No routine prescriptions will be filled after office hours or on week-ends because adequate records are not available.
